Puritan Belief

The Puritans are the men of God who started in the 16th century building on the purity of the gospel message that Salvation is by Grace alone.

The Church of the Antichrist!

Also called The Harlot Church! Rev. 17:1
Shortly after the Church of Jesus Christ was revealed, The Antichrist and his Church emerged.
The Church of Rome!
The Catholic Church!
The Mother of Harlots!
Rev. 17:5

Antichrist means against Christ and also in place of Christ, or in place of God!
The Catholic Church claims that Apostle Peter was her first Pope from AD 32-67. The Scriptures tells us that Peter was not designated to the Gentiles (Rome), but to the Jews. Gal. 2:7-9
The first Pope by the name of Linus, AD 67-76 was the Antichrist revealed, the man of sin who exalts himself to be God! 2 Thes. 2:3 and every consecutive Pope is an Antichrist to the present Pope Joseph Ratzinger, in total of approx. 265 Popes.
The spirit of the Antichrist of which you have heard in 1 John 4:3 is the spirit of the serpent in Genesis 3:1 who dwells in every Pope.
All Popes are Antichrists because they usurp the title and position of God in the Scripture ‘Holy Father’ which only belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ! They demand that every Pope will be addressed as ‘Holy Father’, contrary to ‘Matthew 23:9+10’.
The Antichrist the Pope is the head of the Catholic Church which means the universal Church and he hold’s the keys to his Church, ‘note’ in the picture, the church buildings are arranged in the shape of a key hole!
All their practices and teachings are contrary to the Scriptures.
They claim that salvation is only through the Catholic Church, and that is by joining and to be baptized into the Catholic Church denomination.
They have a Church which is divided into a clergy and a congregation, the clergy is distinguished with titles like Bishop, Fathers, and Cardinals etc.
They have Cathedrals, pulpits, pews and religious clothing, relics, holy water, rosaries etc.
They pray to the saints and worship three persons and the Mother of God!

The Catholic Church is called the Mother of Harlots because in the first century she gave birth to the Trinity doctrine that God is three persons which has been universally accepted and put firmly in place as a central tenet of the Church, and strict monotheism was formally rejected by the Vatican councils in Nice and Constantinople in the late fourth century.
Her Harlotry is in the fact that she has three persons who are gods, or three lovers of her soul (the Trinity).
As the Mother she has many Churches who imitate her and preach her doctrines and they will not repent.
He, who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches.
Revelation 18:4
“Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven”.

As usual I speak very strong words against Catholic, Universal and Trinitarian churches.
Again I like to make it clear.
I do not hate any Catholic, Universal or Trinitarian people!

It would be unthinkable for me to say, that I love God (the Lord Jesus Christ) whom I can not see and hate my brothers who are created in God’s image!
I come from a very big family, all Roman Catholics and many of my close friends are Trinitarians.
Regardless of all that, it is worth to listen and to take heed!
To be a hearer only, does not profit anyone of you!

Hey PB,

Long time no talk. I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I see you are still hateful of all things Catholic.

That's too bad. My heart aches for you as you are blinded by your own ignorance.

I really don't want to argue this as I don't think you're willing to change.

May God bless you.

Hi,Theden;
I know you have addressed PB, and I don’t want to answer for him.

Because I have posted, I’d like to comment.
I know you do not want to argue, that’s ok! Neither do I.
The Lord Jesus has not called me to offend people, but to tell the truth.

However some people do not like the truth and they will be offended.
But blessed is the one who does not take offence at the truth.

In the previous post I described the Church of Jesus Christ, in this post in contrast the Church of the Antichrist.
Not many believers attempt to do that, because of the repercussions.
As for me, I am not looking for the praise of men, but for the praise of the One who loves me with an everlasting love Jesus Christ.

Theden, the things I have said are more important and you should seriously consider them, for the time of playing Church is over and the Lord is at the door!

Oh, I'm not playing Church. I attend the Church that Jesus Christ founded. I've read your posts and don't find much truth in them.

It seems like you have an agenda and it's very anti-Catholic. You can believe whatever you want. It is, however, very far from the truth.

Theden;
You are not attending the Church that Jesus Christ founded.
Jesus Christ did NOT found the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church was founded by the first group of Bishops, who in turn coronate the first Pope, the man of sin the Antichrist, just as I have said in the post.
He had to be revealed at the appropriate time.

You can not see these things because you are not born again.
John 3:3+ Jesus said, unless you (Theden) are born again it is impossible for you to see, or even to enter!
The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only Church in the world which no one can join. Every member is born into His Church by His Spirit and they do not attend a Church because they are the Church of Jesus Christ.

The truth always holds up the Scripture and is not just words on paper, but spirit and truth.

2 Tim. 2:26 says that you have been held captive in the kingdom of darkness, that is in Satan’s kingdom and he (Satan) demands that you believe the doctrines of Rome and that you call the Pope ‘Holy Father’, which is the highest insult to the Lord of glory Jesus Christ.

If you are not willing to turn and repent, then that will be to the peril of your soul.
Remember Jesus said, narrow is the road and only few are those who find it! (Matthew 7:14) And you should make sure that you are one of those few.

Hey PB,

Happy New Year!

I think you’re not quite interpreting Galatians correctly.

First off, in Matthew 16:19, Jesus Christ gives Peter authority over His church. He is the one who holds the keys. He is the steward for Christ.

Secondly, note in Galatians 1 how when Paul returns to Jerusalem, he sought after one apostle to confer with—Peter. (Galatians 1:18). Then in Galatians 2:2, when Paul returns to Jerusalem, he submits his teachings to the Gentiles—privately to “those of repute” (presumably Peter and James although he doesn’t specify). Why does he do this? So that he “might not be running, or have run in vain” (Galatians 2:2).

So, Paul who is responsible for preaching the Gospel to the “uncircumcised” still submits his “Gospel to the Gentiles” to Peter who Paul admits is the leader of the circumcised.

Don’t get me wrong, I think that Paul was definitely the most educated and probably the greatest apostle. Yet he still conferred with Peter—and only Peter--for two weeks (Galatians 1:18) and submitted (privately) his teachings to the authority of the Church hierarchy (presumably Peter). (Galatians 2:2).

One more thing, I’ve been to Rome. I’ve been underneath the altar of Saint Peter’s basilica and I’ve seen Peter’s tomb (with 1900 year old graffiti that SAYS it’s Peter and asks Peter to pray for them). They have found Peter’s remains and all his bones were there except for his feet. Why? They can only theorize that the feet were left on the cross. When he was crucified upside down, the centurion wouldn’t have bothered climbing to the top and just hacked the feet off with a sword. I’ve seen all of this. Peter was in Rome.

Lastly, Peter explains in Acts 1:20 that when Judas died, "another take his office." This shows that the Apostleship continues after a person dies. So, when Peter died, another would have taken his office as well.

The picture on your post is the fulfillment of Acts 1:20 that there has been a succession for Peter's office.

Nowhere in the Bible says that Peter was in Rome, and most certainly He would not be a Pope and be called Holy Father, only the Antichrist would do such a thing.
Do you think that Jesus prayed to the Pope, when He said “Holy Father” in John 17:11 ?
Do you think that Peter would take the title that only belongs to God for himself?
I don’t think so! Only the Antichrist would do such a thing!2 Thes. 2:3-6

You said;
“Then in Galatians 2:2 when Paul returns to Jerusalem, he submits his teachings to the Gentiles.”
It seems to me that you don’t know who the Gentiles, circumcised and uncircumcised are?
In Jerusalem were the Jews and not the Gentiles! And Paul did not submit any teaching to anybody, or any hierarchy as you said!
Paul was a Gospel preacher just like us and we do not submit any teaching to anybody either! We preach the Gospel in season or out of season convenient and not convenient!

Revelation 18:4
Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues.

This is a very clear warning from the Lord to all who claim to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and should not be ignored!

To be able to respond and repent;
A believer first must know who the harlot Church is?
Second why is she called a harlot?

Rev. 18:4 does not only speak about the Catholic Church, it is every Church and denomination that plays the harlot with her who practices and teaches her doctrines.

Where are the shepherds of Gods flock who preach the warnings as well as the blessings?

Isaiah 56:10-11
The Churches watchmen are blind, they all lack knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they cannot bark; they lie around and dream, they love to sleep. They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. They are shepherds who lack understanding, they all turn to their own way, and each seeks his own gain.

Paul,

Nowhere in Scripture does it say the Catholic Church is the Harlot. That's your interpretation and it's incorrect.

Yes, Paul does submit his preaching to the Apostles. It says just that in Galatians 2:2.

"I went up in accord with a revelation, and I presented to them the gospel that I preach to the Gentiles--but privately to those of repute--so that I might not be running, or have run, in vain. "

He shares with them his understanding of the gospel to make sure they approve. If they disapproved, then he would have been "running in vain" and the last14 years would have been a waste of time.

That's what he's saying in Galatians. I don't think you can give me a better interpretation than that.

Regarding John 17:11, who was Jesus referring to? Please answer that question. I want to know what you think.

Regarding "Holy Father," Catholics would all agree that there is a distinction between the Holy Father (Pope) and Holy Father (God). Jesus Christ also refers to God as "Father." If I call my dad, "Father" am I giving him a title referenced only for God? No.

Theden;
Everyone who has more than ONE person as their spouse is called a harlot. (In the natural)
The same is in the spiritual; everyone who has more than ONE person as their god is called a harlot!
For this reason the Roman Catholic Church is called ‘the Mother of Harlots’, because she has taught all other Churches her harlotry, that God is three persons!
And that includes all Trinitarian Churches and denominations that hold her teachings.
A Harlot Church does not know who her Father is. So the Catholic Church calls the Pope to be her Holy Father, and all Trinitarian Churches call this unknowable person ‘Father’, a different person than Jesus who they do not know!

Jesus said in John 14:18
I will not leave you as orphans (without a Father) I will come to you.
Theden, do you think that Jesus sent the Pope to be your Father?
If Jesus is not your Holy Father, the alternative would be the devil!

Regarding John 17:11 Soon I will do a post on all those difficult passages.

See, I think it's very easy to distinguish between a spiritual father (like the Pope) and God the Father.

Not only do I understand this, but John does as well:

"I write to you, children, because you know the Father. I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning" (1 John 2:14)

So, here John is using Father twice in one verse. From your logic, it sounds like he has many gods because he refers to one Father and then many "fathers." How can this be? Doesn't he know that there is only one "Father" who is God and if he calls anyone else "father," he's blaspheming? You don't need to answer that question but your logic is kinda silly.

If John gets it and I get it and the people who are receiving this letter get it (not to mention EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS READ THIS) why is it so hard for you to accept the Pope's title as Holy Father? He's not referring to himself as God but referring to himself as a spiritual father--Just as Paul does(1 Corinthians 4:15/Philemon 1:10)

Regarding harlotry and the Catholic Church, I can't get there with your logic. It's too much of a stretch. Your logic also doesn't make sense. First, you say a harlot has more than one spouse and then you say a harlot doesn't know who the father is. That's two different definitions and neither one fits the Catholic Church.

It sounds too much like you have an axe to grind against the Catholic Church and you reject the notion of a Trinity solely because it's Catholic teaching.

If that's the case, you may as well reject Scripture because that came from the Catholic Church as well.

You don't make me want to leave the Church. You make me want to embrace it and thank it. Seeing your viciousness and hatred makes me want to cling to her even more as I can see through you. It's time that you really start understanding theology and stop attacking that which you don't comprehend.

It is interesting that you know the NAME of your spiritual Father the Pope (Joseph Ratzinger) and call him ‘Holy Father’.
And ignore when the Lord God tells you, that you should not call anyone Father, except Him who is in heaven. Matthew 23:9

And as you have said, that you do not know the NAME of your Father who is in heaven (your second spiritual Father), even though God the Father said, that His people (children) KNOW HIS NAME! Isaiah 52:6

Conclusion;
Every illegitimate Son does NOT know the Name of his Father!
And every legitimate Son KNOWS the Name of his Father!

Theden; you don’t know His Name because you are not His Son!
To be God’s Son you must be born of God or as I have said born again by the Spirit of Jesus, then you would know His Name just as I do! Isa. 52:6

Paul,

All this shows me is that you are ignorant of Scripture.

To name something is to have dominion over it. (Per Genesis 2).

We don't have dominion over God and we don't name Him (God the Father.) He calls Himself I am who am (JHVH) but that's what He calls Himself. That's what He is. He is who is. He is the creator of EVERYTHING. Before anything existed, He is. That's not my name for Him as I cannot name Him as I don't have dominion over God.

Regarding "no man father..." I gave you scriptural references that show you that Paul addresses "fathers" and calls himself a father.

You said that you can not Name Him!
Theden, that is because you don’t know Him!
If you would know Him you would know His Name.

I know Him and I have declared His Name.
Jesus said, if you do not know that I AM ‘HE’ you will die in your sins. John 8:24
And that is a warning from the Lord Jesus and should not be ignored.

Regarding “no man Father---”.
Many people came to be in Christ through my preaching and testimony, and in that sense I would be their Father.
But no one calls me ‘Father’, nor would I call myself Father, because God forbids calling anyone Father. Matt. 23:9 (Especially ‘Holy Father’!)
The same was with Paul in the Bible, no one ever called Paul ‘Father’.

I think you're misreading Matthew.

Regarding God's name. I never said I didn't know His name. I said He doesn't have one. Per Genesis 2, naming someone means having dominion over them.

They believe that Jehovah who is the Father of another person by the name of Jesus and He sent Him to save the world.

They stubbornly refuse to believe that Jesus is the YHWH who became flesh and dwelt among us in bodily form.

Most of the Trinitarian Churches are dead, because they play the Harlot with the Catholic Church and their multiple gods.

Paul G.,

Revelation was written in the 1st century to 1st century Christians.

They did not enjoy the freedoms that we had and had to write "Apocalyptically" to avoid being charged with crimes.

The Harlot being talked about is Rome (not Roman Catholic Church). To speak out against Rome (the government--not the city) was a crime so people wrote in a language which allowed the reader to understand who they were talking about.

At the time, Rome was very decadent and corrupt (much like society today. The morality of the society had collapsed. It had become a "harlot" that drank of excess.

At the time, Rome was pagan and "drank the blood of the saints" by torturing and crucifying them.

Revelation explains that the Lamb will overpower the Harlot and conquer her (v. 14).

That happened. Rome--the center of the world--converted to Christianity. Jesus Christ conquered her. He purified her thus purifying the world.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of work left still.

Thanks for the explanation.

Revelation is a spiritual and not a natural book. Natural people can not understand spiritual things, because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Cor. 2:14

Revelation is talking about a spiritual city (the Vatican) and not Rome, also a spiritual Church (the Catholic Church) who holds a spiritual belief opposing to Christ and the Scripture.

And the Harlot is a spiritual Harlot a Church and individuals who believe in many gods just like you and the Catholic Church and all Trinitarian Churches, because they also play the Harlot with the Catholic Church and her many gods.

If you spoke against the Catholic Church they called you a heretic and burned you at the stake and she became drunk with the blood of all the saints she murdered! (and not if you spoke against Rome.)

The Catholic Church decreed that every heretic who spoke against the Church and her doctrines be put to death if they do not renounce the accusations.

Jesus Christ did NOT conquer Rome and purify her as you have said.
Rome today is as wicked and ungodly as it was in the first century, I have been there many times, I know!

PB,

Regarding Thessalonians, from the way I understand it, the Thessalonians were concerned with Christ's second coming and people were taking advantage of it telling them that they were Christ but they were giving a message contrary to what Christ said. (2 Thess. 2: 1-3)

Paul is telling them to NOT be deceived by these people. He tells them (and us) to hold fast to the traditions taught both ORALLY and by written letter (v. 15). (NOTE: NOT EVERYTHING WAS WRITTEN DOWN!!!)

These people who teach a false gospel...do not listen to them.

Who are these people? Well, I won't deny that they COULD be people in the Catholic Church...or they could be people outside of the Catholic Church. It could be you or it could be me.

I know this. They are people who are not preaching the same message as what Paul taught to the Thessalonians.

And I know beyond doubt that the message from Paul to the Thessalonians is the same message that the Catholic Church teaches today.

That God loves them (and you) and He wants them (and you) to love Him back. That God loved you so much that He died...for you. He's giving us the opportunity for eternal life. All we have to do is say Yes! to God. To be obedient to Him in all things and to do it all out of love and humility.

Jesus Christ does not want us arguing about this. He wants us to love Him and to love others through Him. He wants me to reveal Him to you and He wants you to reveal Him to me. That's the Truth. This much I know and this is the message from Paul in ALL of his letters.
