Puritan Belief

The Puritans are the men of God who started in the 16th century building on the purity of the gospel message that Salvation is by Grace alone.

The Mystery of God Revealed!

To the Saints!
Colossians 2:2-4
My purpose is that you may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that you have the full riches of COMPLETE UNDERSTANDING in order that you may know the MYSTERY OF GOD namely CHRIST in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine sounding arguments.
Colossians 1:26-27 The MYSTERY that has been kept HIDDEN for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Saints.
To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this Mystery which is Christ in you the hope of glory.
Colossians 2:9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.

Here we can see that the Mystery of God has been made known to us, to those who are born again by the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In the days of the Lord, when God became a man, no one really believed that this man Jesus could be Emanuel, God with us.
Some thought he is the carpenter's son. Matt. 13:55
His Family did not believe him. Mark 3:21
The Church leaders accused him of blasphemy. Matt. 26:64-65
Some said,"We are stoning you because you are a mere man claiming to be God". John 10:33
Some Apostles doubted, Philip asked Jesus, show us the Father and that will be enough, Jesus said "Don't you know me Philip even after I have been among you such a long time?" John 14:8-9

It is just like in the Churches and Denominations today, they still do not believe that Jesus Christ is the only true God. 1John 5:20
They invent doctrines like the Trinity and say that there is someone else who must be the real God and Jesus is His Son.

Jesus said, that He is from above and we are from the earth. John 3:31 And no one knows the Father except the Son and him whom He chooses to reveal Him. Matthew 11:27

Questions;
Has Jesus revealed the Father to you?
Has Jesus made Himself known to you?
If not? Then read again the doctrine of the 'Father' 'Son' 'Holy Spirit'.
If all attempts fail, then ask the Lord Jesus Christ yourself!
Has He who made the ear, can He not hear?
Has he who made the mouth, can He not speak?

Uh, how do I say this politely?

You may wish to run your title through a spell-check.

Do you mean revealed (made visible)? Re-veiled (as in covered again)? Reviled (hated)? I suspect it was the first one.

BTW, your final post on the last thread was a dodge, and not an answer.

I will reply to this when time permits.

To them who have no knowledge and understanding, to them God is always a mystery.

Trinitarians always say at the end of their Trinity explanation, no one can understand the infinity of God with a finite mind, He is a mystery!
They write volumes of explanations, how possible it is for God to be three persons and yet one God!
How can they try to explain something, which they say, no one can understand?

My explanation is simple trustworthy and true.

What does Jesus mean when He said!
If you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins! (John 8:24)

To me it is very clear, that any person must believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal one person God became flesh!
The God of the Old Testament is the same God of the New Testament (Jesus Christ).
The Lord your God changes not, He is the same yesterday to day and forever.

Jude 1:4 Christ our ONLY sovereign Lord!
Trinitarians say, all three are equally sovereign.

Rom. 9:5 Christ who is God over all forever!
Trinitarians say, there are three who are equally God over all.

You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see that the Trinity teaching is a devilish deception, but you need to be born again to believe that Jesus Christ is the only true God. (1 John 5:20)

hi paul, Great post, so uplifting...man i love jesus!

Africa is ummmm....challanging. Every day i drive past beggars on the street and at the traffic lights. I feel i need to speak up more about God and see more of his power working...there's no excuse why i am quite about him...

People even at church are being broken into, shot...the other day a guy was beat up, set fire to and left to die in back yard. but it was miracle, the next day someone came to take body away and realised he had slight heart beat...he defied all the odds and was sitting up in bed after a few days.

Im getting married in less then 3 weeks...we only planned to get married in december 2 weeks ago. But God is amazing and providing over and above what we need...i can honestly say we are having a free wedding and a free honeymoon...but we didnt know this untill last week when people blessed us with gifts, freak and even now nik's come in and said that a friend has totally providing catoring as a gift to us, man God's blessings are over and above! and we were thinking of just going to the registra's office and signing the documents haha...
anyway
how things your end?

Kellie;
Thanks! I thought Africa would be a challenge for you.
You are getting married in a couple of weeks, excellent! Congratulations and best wishes!
If your husband loves Jesus like you do, then you have a good foundation.
The secret of a good relationship with the Lord and with your husband is in Psalm 37:4 delight yourself in the Lord, and of course in your husband! It works both ways.
I ought to know! After all I am happily married for 35 Years.
So the key is ‘DELIGHT’.

Here in Australia the life is good, in fact too good! That’s why as a nation we are far from the Lord and the mission field is ready.
