Puritan Belief

The Puritans are the men of God who started in the 16th century building on the purity of the gospel message that Salvation is by Grace alone.

Why the Trinity?

The reason why Satan has introduced the Trinity teaching (doctrine) is simply to divide God into three persons and so to conquer you and your faith, trust and belief in the only ONE true God Jesus Christ of Nazareth and to seduce you to believe that there is some other person or identity who is also a God.

Divide and conquer!

Satan the master of deception and the prince and Father of all liars has deliberately deceived all Trinitarians to believe that God is many persons and identities. He has used the Scripture to back up his lies and so to give authority to his deception.
In doing so, Satan has undermined your belief and faith in the ONE God Jesus Christ and divided Him into three persons (gods).

Isaiah 14:13+14 Satan said in his heart;
"I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.
I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High."

Satan already has ascended into the realm of the spirit (heart).
Within the doctrine of the Trinity, Satan enthrones himself as the Most High God and demotes the Lord Jesus to a second person, another person, lower than him (Satan) and calls Jesus his Son.
Satan sits enthroned in the utmost heights of the assemblies who believe that there is another person, other than Jesus Christ who is also a God.
If you have ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord Jesus said in (Isaiah 14:13+14), then you would know that Satan tries to take the place above the Lord our God Jesus Christ.

The Scripture clearly says; that Jesus Christ is the true God and eternal life (1 John 5:20) and any other person, spirit or identity, who tries to take place of God is the devil.

If God is divided into three persons, then so is your faith, love, worship and service.
Jesus said that you can not serve two masters, either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other (Matthew 6:24).
Here you can see that it is impossible to believe, worship and serve two or three persons which the Trinitarians call 'God'.

Remember the first commandment; (Exodus 20:2+3)
Jesus said;
I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
You shall have no other gods before me.
Exodus 20:5 "you shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, (v.6) but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments."

The doctrine of the Trinity does not divide God. The Father Son and Holy Spirit are of ONE essence.

The question is, “How has God reveled Himself?” The answer must come from the biblical data, not from the limitations of your mind.

If the Bible reveals One God in three distinct Persons, then your unitarian God is an idol and you are guilty of idolatry.

Takin;
If the Father is not the Son and the Son is not the Holy Spirit, then surely God is divided.

The God of the Bible is revealed only in one person, the person of Jesus Christ.

"Unitarian God" means "One God"!
Takin; you should believe in a 'Unitarian God', the alternative is 'polytheism' meaning many gods.

Muslims and Jehovah Witnesses are also 'Unitarians', they just don't know the God of all creation (the God of the Bible).
The God which I proclaim is the true God and eternal life (Jesus Christ).

Genuine trinitariansism is monotheistic. I as a biblical trinitarian believe in One and only One true God. Therefore, as I’ve written before…

“The real point to be argued is this, “Does the Bible teach that there are personal distinctions between the Father Son and Holy Spirit?” Since Trinitarians and modalist both affirm monotheism and the Deity of Christ, there is no reason to argue these points. But modalist almost universally want to argue these very points. This is because for them to argue the real point of difference (personal distinctions in the Deity) is a loosing battle.”

So, tell me, in the beginning Who was the God the Word (Who is God) was with? (see John 1:1). What does the word with mean?

Just like the Watchtower press Paul G and Puritan Belief will simply gloss over, completely ignore or rewrite any scriptures they do not agree with.

My question is: When you come across something that is clear in Scripture, but you disagree with you have 2 options. Either change your belief or change the Scripture. Which is it that you do Pauls G?

John 1:1 is very easily understood.

Here is a post on it:
Word was with??

Anonymous:
It is clear that there is one God and this God is Jesus Christ.

Just read takins link to find out how "unclear" the trinity is.

Even the best scholars still describe it as a mystery. So to say that there is a scripture out there that makes the trinity easily understood is misleading at best.

Takin;
First; there is no such thing as a Biblical Trinitarian!
The Bible does not teach personal distinctions between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

A long way back I posted the doctrine of the Father the Holy Spirit and of the Son.
They all are short and easy to understand, Biblical and intellectually sound.

Note! Each doctrine points to Jesus which amounts to the The Oneness of God in Christ.

Modalists believe that God came in different modes throughout the history of the Old and New Testament.
That is because of the lack of Scriptural knowledge and understanding. Also; I think it is a lack of personal fellowship with the Lord Jesus.

However 'Trinitarianism' is a satanic teaching, first conceived in the heart of Satan (Isaiah 14:13-14) and after, taught, believed and practiced in the 'Antichrists the Popes' to this very day.

In (John 1:1) you should ask yourself, why does it say that "the Word was 'WITH' God", when the Word 'WAS' God?

Or why does it say, "In the beginning was the Word", when you clearly know that "In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth" (Gen. 1:1)?

Do you think that somebody else other than GOD created the heavens and the earth? (Gen. 1:1)
Do you think that somebody else other than Jesus Christ created the heavens and the earth? (John 1:3)
Of course NOT! The Word was 'WITH' God in His mouth, when God said, "let there be light".
(John 1:2) Jesus in the flesh was 'WITH' God who is Spirit (John 4:24) in the beginning.

Takin, I have been telling you all that before.
All of John 1:1-6 speaks of Jesus Christ as the creator of heaven and earth and spiritual darkness cannot understand that. They will not and cannot believe that the person (Jesus Christ) who is standing in front of them is the God of all Creation in Genesis.

Thanks for the video-clip links, (the doctrine of the Trinity).
I have heard that kind of preaching numerous times, in fact this devilish doctrine is preached from almost every pulpit in the so called Christian Churches.
The Lord Jesus has given Satan the power to deceive even the elect if possible and it is seen and heard in Mark's preaching. It amazes me that an intelligent man like Mark can teach such illogical contradiction.
But then again; they are just men who theorize about God, men who never really met the Lord God of the Bible, unlike myself.
There is a time for everyone when they will meet the Lord my God and then surely they will know that HE is NOT-----THREE -----PERSONS!

Anonymous; it is not as important what Mark is saying, or even I in that regard, but more so, who do you say that Jesus Christ is?
Is He one of three? Or is He one of one?
Again, I like to point you to an impossibility; 'HE can not be MANY'.
In the Scripture the Lord God is always called 'HE', except in about three places where there is used the Royal 'US'.

(Mars Hill Assembly) Fits perfectly into my post illustration (Isa. 14:13) where Satan sits enthroned on the mount of the assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.
"The utmost heights of the sacred mountain"; that is the presence of the Lord God the Almighty Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the place where Jesus Christ alone is the Lord and Satan has enthroned himself as the second person in God and makes himself like the Most High.
Please feel free to send a link to Mars Hill.

Has anyone seen God or not?

Has seen
1. (Gen. 17:1) – “Now when Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am God Almighty ; Walk before Me, and be blameless;

2. (Gen. 18:1) Now the LORD appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, while he was sitting at the tent door in the heat of the day.”

3. (Exodus 6:2-3) – “God spoke further to Moses and said to him, "I am the LORD; 3and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name, LORD, I did not make Myself known to them.”

4. (Exodus 24:9-11) – “Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, 10and they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself. 11Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel; and they saw God, and they ate and drank.”

5. (Num. 12:6-8) – “He said, "Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, shall make Myself known to him in a vision. I shall speak with him in a dream. 7"Not so, with My servant Moses, He is faithful in all My household; 8With him I speak mouth to mouth, Even openly, and not in dark sayings, And he beholds the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant, against Moses ?"

6. (Acts 7:2), "And he [Stephen] said, 'Hear me, brethren and fathers! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran...'"

Has not seen

1. (Exodus 33:20) – “But He [God] said, "You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live !"

2. (John 1:18) – “No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.”

3. (John 5:37) – “"And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form.”

4. (John 6:46) - "Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father.”

5. (1 Tim. 6:15-16) – “He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.”

How can these Scriptures be true if the Trinity is not?

Yes anonymous many people have seen God.
In the Old Testament they saw God as the angel of the Lord.
Now we see God in His incarnation Jesus Christ.
We know that God is Spirit or a Spirit if you like (John 4:24) and (Gen. 1:2) and it is impossible to see a Spirit and that Spirit dwells in unapproachable light just as the Scripture says.

If the Spirit who is God clothed Himself in flesh (Jesus Christ), then you can see God and live.

The Lord Jesus has created you in His image, just like Jesus, spirit, soul and body.
If you are one person created in the image of God, how then can you say that God is three persons?

If you don't have a body, I can not see you, even though you exist in spirit and a soul.
If a man dies and he is not saved, his body goes to dust and his spirit and soul goes to judgment.
That is not so with those who are saved, because the Lord Jesus was judged on their behalf and they go direct to be with the Lord. Absence from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Anonymous; all the Scriptures you quoted are speaking of Jesus and all the passages where Jesus is talking about the Father are understood in the light that Jesus became flesh and talking about His Spirit.
Remember, that the Holy Spirit came upon Mary and the Holy child shall be called the Son of the most high.
Here you can see that the Father of Jesus is the Holy Spirit and He is not two persons, just the Holy Spirit clothed in flesh (veiled the incarnate deity).

If you look at the Scriptures with Trinitarian glasses, all you will be able to see is an unknowable God who dwells in unapproachable light.
But if you look only to Jesus, you will see the glory and the majesty of the invisible God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Trinitarians are polytheists, meaning they believe in many gods.

You can see that on the Video-clips, every time Mark is praying, he prays to three separate god-persons, god-people, identities or gods, in hope that one of them might hear his prayer.

Muslims, do better than that!
At least they pray to one God and call Him Allah.
But Mark is a disgrace to the living God by adding some other persons to the only ONE true God Jesus Christ and is teaching others to believe in his many god-people.
Didn't Jesus say that you should not have any other god-persons beside the Lord your God?
Didn't Jesus say that that is the foremost of all the commandments?
Do you think that they will go unpunished?
If Mark is teaching such a wicked doctrine, he stands under a greater condemnation than those who do not teach them.

Again I like to say that there is not a more devilish doctrine than the TRINITY!
This doctrine is an offence to the Lord Jesus and to everyone who loves the Lord Jesus with all his heart, might, soul and strength.

'Satan sits enthroned on the mount of such assemblies'.
By that I mean that Satan has taken the place of God the Father, the place which only belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ, since there is only one God and that is the Father and beside Him there is NO other god-person, He alone is the Lord our God and to Him be all honour, glory and praise!

(Let it be known that I am a Catholic and believe that God is a Trinity of Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.)

A one-to-one correspondence between "God" and "Jesus" (that is, an understanding of God as ONE person, Jesus Christ) makes an awful lot of New Testament writing sound confused:

"Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs which God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know --" (Acts 2:22)

"This Jesus God raised up" (Acts 2:32)

"God has made him both Lord and Christ" (Acts 2:36)

At face value, these and many other verses of Scripture seem to make a sharp distinction between God and Jesus, as if Jesus were not even God.

The main question that this God-as-one-person theology raises in my mind is, how is the same ONE PERSON both the Father AND His own Son? (Second: what is the Holy Spirit?) For example, there are plenty of times in the New Testament where Jesus speaks to His Father: is He speaking to Himself? (Lk 10:21) Why does Scripture speak of the God OF Jesus? (Rev 1:6) Why does Scripture speak of Jesus sitting with His Father? (Rev 3:21)

(Is this matter resolved by distinguishing between Jesus-man and Jesus-God?)

Trinitarian theology addresses this matter by understanding God to be an eternal communion of three Divine Persons. A philosophical argument could be made from love:

God is love, and man is called to love as God loves. Is God's love a selfish love or a self-giving love? (I think we can agree it is a self-giving love.) If God is love from all eternity, than surely there must have been Someone for God to give love to before He created anything, and that uncreated Someone must also, therefore, be God, but such that it is not God loving Himself. Thus, a plurality of Persons in God, such that Person A of God can love Person B of God.

I realize I've said very much all at once. I'd be happy to address these points one at a time.

Have a blessed new year! On this day commemorating our Lord's circumcision and the first shedding of His blood, to fulfill the Law and accomplish our salvation, may He bless you with every spiritual blessing in the heavens!
