Puritan Belief

The Puritans are the men of God who started in the 16th century building on the purity of the gospel message that Salvation is by Grace alone.

Trinity allegory!

Pastor Max visited John for correction concerning his three wives 'the Trinity'.

Pastor Max said to John, the Church sent me to talk to you about your three wives. As a Church we cannot allow you to have three wives.

But, Pastor Max! I do not have three wives, I only have one wife.

Look John, I am not stupid, I can see and count your three wives, Sue, Mary and Jane.

Yes Pastor Max, Trinity is three persons but they are ONE, ONE wife.

No John, you are married to three separate persons, Sue, Mary and Jane you are transgressing the first command, "you shall have no other person beside your only one wife", which amounts to adultery and harlotry and none of those will be in heaven.

Pastor Max, it seems to me that you really don't understand my wife Trinity and the three natures she has, one for Sue another for Mary and another for Jane. They are separate Identities or persons, but they are ONE, its kind of hard to understand, in fact no one really understands the mystery of the Trinity, because a finite mind can not understand the infinity of the Trinity.
You know my wife Trinity is just like your God, three persons and three natures in one God, surely you can understand that?

Look John, I really don't want to talk about my God, that is personal and after all I have a degree in Theology. All I want is that you renounce and repent of your polygamy.

Pastor Max, I told you that I don't have three wives; if that is your kind of argument then I don’t want to talk to you anymore. The Bible says that you supposed to talk to me tenderheartedly in psalms and spiritual songs, instead you talk to me angrily and constantly rebuke me; take that as my resignation and I will find another Church!

This is a valid picture for every Trinitarian!
It is also called spiritual harlotry and unfaithfulness to the only one true God Jesus Christ our Lord.

If you really believe that is a valid picture for every Trinitarian, you either: do not understand Trinitarianism, though you claim that you do; are not serious about your argument; or are just too arrogant about your own reasoning ability to allow for any other point of view.

The writer of Proverbs listed a haughty spirit as the first thing that God hates, so I know that could not be it.

Your three wives illustration is most decidedly not remotely related to what Trinitarians believe, and I think you are smart enouth to already know that.

Aren't you?

Well done Paul for showing the deceipt of the the trinity in your allegory.

Joe, From your own admission when explaining the trinity.

"Does that make sense?

Not to me...but to God it does,"

If you and all your friends with "theology degrees" don't understand the trinity then why not question it?

The allegory would make sense to a child why not you?

Joe it is time to really take a step back and stop defending something you don't understand or know why you believe it.

It is a case of the emporers new clothes.

I don't understand lightening, nuclear physics, black holes, love, emotion, gravity, the Internet (except that it was invented by Al Gore), HTML, or a plethora of other things.

But I deny none of them (except the Al Gore thing).

I took my step back many years ago, and think it is you who needs to take a step back.

Now what do we do?

Fair enough Joe.

Let's compare Al Gores man made global warming to the trinity as I believe their motives are the same.

Can you see that men who push man made global warming are compromised and that it is all about control and money? And they try and tell the people that they shouldn't disagree on man made global warming because they don't understand it and thousands of IPCC scientests agree therefore the debate is over. The moment you question it you are given skeptic (heretic) status and told you are irrisponsible and a morally corrupt person even though they themselves don't understand it. (Every scientest included)

The critical thinking mind knows that man made global warming is all about the money, power and control.

And the same goes with the trinity, it is all about money, power and control.

The trinity concept is something that can be mocked and makes sense to mock it like Paul has. It really is a foolish doctrine that many man have died over. It has been given untouchable status and the gospel isn't the trinity, the gospel is Jesus.

What men have died for is their oppressors' claim to absolute understanding of the Truth, much like what I find here.

Paul's assertion (in an earlier thread) that his understanding of the Almighty is without error is the surest sign of his delusion.

Strawman arguments like this post are merely the icing on the apostate cake.

Dorsey;
Whose testimony would you believe?

The Trinitarians who say that God is three persons and no one can understand that mystery.

Or ours; we testify to Jesus Christ and say that there is no other person or identity who is also a God.
Jesus Christ is the alpha and omega, meaning the first and the last the beginning and the end. He alone is the Lord God the Almighty and beside Him there is no other.

I have been exposing that Trinity straw man for a long time, so that everyone can see clearly for what it really is, a straw man and a deception.

Remember an apostate is a person who has fallen away from the Lord Jesus to another god.

That certainly is what I'm into. I want to control your mind, your spirit and your actions.

I want to control your money. You should send lots of it to me.

Write me and I'll give you my address.

How on earth does me being trinitarian exercise any power or control over anybody? How does it relate to money?

That is just the lowest form of critical thinking I've ever heard of.

I don't even make an effort to convert you to my point of view!

I just tell you what I think and you can do what you want with it...as you do.

I mean, this is America! You have every right to be wrong.

Talk about insults! To compare my thinking to AlGore...oh! I am wounded to the core!

I have an allegory too...

Once upon a time ther was a little boy call Terry. Now Terry lived in a rural town, with his father. Neither he nor his father had many of the fine things some of the other families had in town. They worked hard all day every day and had enough to live but not many comforts. Terry and his dad were happy. They worked for all they had and they had enough.

One day while walking home from the market Terry saw a poster on the side of a store. The poster was advertising a Circus soon to come to town. Terry had never before seen a circus.

Terry ran all the way home with his good news. The Circus was on its way!

Even though Terry and his dad did not have much, upon seeing the joy in his son, Terry's dad gave him the $5 needed for the circus admission.

There was another boy in town. John was never kind to Terry, he always called him names, mocked him for his hard working days when all John ever did was play...

Now when the circus arrived in town the next saturday Terry ran all the way to the town square. Just as he arrived the circus was comming over the hill into town. He stood there with the crowd and watched, eyes beaming and smile spread wide. Terry saw for the first time lions, tigers, elephants, acrobats, jugglers and clowns. He saw the fancy horses and the strong man, he saw all of the wonders of the circus pass him by in the parade.

As he followed the procession to the big top he saw John in line to enter the big tent. Because of the way John treated Terry, Terry hated John. Terry never admitted to this, he knew that hatred was not right, he knew that he should love everyone no matter the way he was treated in return. But this still did not stop Terry from hating John fro behind his polite smile.

As Terry saw John enter the big tent he decided that if someone so cruel and nasty was going into the tent then he would not. So Terry gave his fathers $5 to one of the clowns and ran home. All the way singing how he had seen all the wonder of the circus, and that those inside the big top were fooling themselves. The true circus had been in front of them all along and going into that dark tent just meant that they could not see anymore. Terry knew that John was watching a lie.

Make of this allegory what you will. I'd love to hear from scripture (and no you have not done this yet although when asked you always claim "I have answered this many times" or "I will tell you next time") exactly where your theology on this topic coes from. It seems that like Terry who hated John so much he did not see the circus, because you hate the catholic church so much you refuse truth simply because they believe it too.

Catholics also say the sky is blue and that moses led the israelites out of egypt and that noah was on the ark. I guess these are lies too.

Catholics oppose me as much as the Trinitarians, because they "are in bed together". They say "we believe that Jesus is also God".
By that, those deluded Catholics and Trinitarians mean, that Jesus is God along with the other two.

It is the heart of every sinful man to be joined to Trinity because she looks attractive or should I say that they look attractive.

But the bride of Christ is joined only to ONE husband (2 Cor. 11:2) Jesus Christ our Lord, ---- and NOT to THREE!

And please don't tell me that the THREE are ONE.
Those deluded Trinitarians have done that throughout the centuries.

paul g: I wonder what it would take to change your mind? I know what it would take to change mine.

If you found out you were wrong, would you change?

See, I know I'm right.

You know you're right.

That's whats called an impasse.

If we focus on the impasse, we will miss the Savior and by doing so we make it impossible for us to do His actual work on earth.

Whether your point of view concerning Trinitarians is right or wrong I cannot say a priori.

I do know that your focus is divisive, and diliberately so.

It is rife with anger and self-agrandisement.

You cannot think that is right.

Can you?

Joe;
Any man who preaches the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord, just as I do or any child can do, it is impossible for that man to be wrong, because he preaches or proclaims the truth and the truth is the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 14:6)

So then, what would it take to change your mind?
Would it make a difference if I would say 'Thus says the Lord'?

I don't think so!

When the word of the Lord came to the prophets old, Israel did not listen but stiffen their necks.
What about when the word of the Lord comes to the Churches today, do you think they will listen?

I don't think so!

That is because it must be given by the Lord and not by me.

If I speak nice things in the flesh of not much spiritual value, I have their favor and they love me.
If I speak in the name of the Lord, they despise me and call me heretic etc.

A weird world!
Or should I say it like Jesus said, "An evil and adulterous generation." (Matt. 12:39)

Joe;
You mention a few times about anger;
Do you think that the Lord might be angry with you, because you believe the lie about the Trinity?

I am sure you remember that there is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus our Lord, only repentance.
Repentance is not a big problem for those who are of the circumcision of the heart, only for reprobates.

The Lord Jesus said that "the Lord our God is ONE Lord"! (Mark 12:29)
ONE God the Father! (1 Cor.8:6)

Consequently HE is NOT -----THREE!

Jesus and the Father are NOT---- TWO!

If you transgress on this foremost or most important commandment, then most likely you transgress all other commandments and your religion has no benefit!

Because you believe in God, that has no value, all Muslims, Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, and Catholics etc. they believe in God and they might give their lives for their beliefs.
And worst of all, we who testify only to Jesus Christ are found to be false witnesses.

I wish you would be observant like that concerning that fake doctrine of the Trinity.

Perhaps one day you might post on the supremacy of our wonderful Lord and God Jesus Christ.
Of course if you do, you might lose all your Christian friends.
But I will give you a big AMEN!
