Which Name Do You Keep Holy?
Luke 11:3 Jesus said, 'pray, FATHER,
HOLY be your NAME' !
Holy is your NAME!
This is the teaching of the Lord Jesus
Christ in Luke 11:3.
Before anyone can pray, one needs first
to know which NAME must be kept HOLY.
Jesus said, 'When you pray, say,
FATHER, HOLY be your NAME.'!
We know that 'Father' is a title and
not a name, therefore, it is legitimate to ask, which FATHER'S NAME
needs to be hallowed or (declared Holy) ?
Obviously, our heavenly FATHER'S NAME is a
HOLY NAME and we need to know that NAME for the sake of His HOLY NAME (Eze. 36:22).
How can one know our heavenly Father's
Name if we don't know who our heavenly Father is?
Yet unto US is but ONE God and that is
the Father! (1 Corinthians 8:6) and only His NAME is HOLY any other
name is NOT holy.
If you are a Jehovah Witness, you will
honor the name of your Father Jehovah and call him HOLY.
If you are a Jew, perhaps you will
honor your Father Yahweh and call him HOLY.
If you are a Muslim, perhaps you will
honor your Father Allah and call him HOLY.
If you are a Hare Krishna, you will
honor your Father Krishna and call him HOLY.
If you are a Christian, you will honor
your Father, Jehovah, Yahweh, the trinity and numerous names and
titles from the Bible and call ALL of them HOLY.
The weirdest of all the churches above
are the Christian churches, they are unacceptable to the only one and
true God of all creation Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
No man with the mind of Christ (1 Cor.
2:16) will keep HOLY all the above names and titles.
Jesus said, 'As many as I love I
rebuke' (Rev. 3:19), they are those who are called by MY NAME (2
Chron. 7:14).
If you are a disciple of the Lord Jesus
Christ, will you honor the Lord Jesus Christ as your Father who is
in heaven and keep only His NAME HOLY? so that, at the NAME
of JESUS every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth
and under the earth and every tongue CONFESS that Jesus Christ is the
Lord God the Almighty the creator of heaven and earth to the glory of
our only FATHER God who is in heaven Jesus Christ our Lord and only
God? (Phil. 2:10) + (Col. 1:16).
All those who believe in the Lord Jesus
Christ will confess that JESUS is the NAME which should to be
hallowed in all the earth and NO OTHER Name.
(Zec. 14:9) ONE Lord and His NAME the
ONLY Name! Yes, that's correct, the 'ONLY Name'!
Only our heavenly FATHER'S NAME is HOLY
and NO OTHER NAME, and that Name is JESUS!
So, please tell me, which name do you
consider to be HOLY ?

After reading many creeds and belief statements
I decided to stick to my own

I will not enter into any argument with you on this one. Just a statement or answer to your question. I pray to, worship and keep the name of "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh", Holy through his son, our Lord and Mediator, Y'shua ha Mashiach, Jesus Christ.
However, it could be argued that God holds the name of Y'shua, Jesus, higher than his name, for, in Psalm 138:2, David says,
"I will worship toward thy holy temple, And give thanks unto thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. "
If we are correct in believing that Y'shua, Jesus, is the Word of God, manifested in the flesh, then I believe that God holds the name of Y'shua, Jesus, in great esteem.

I think that is good and pleasing to the Lord our only God Jesus Christ (Jude 1:25) to have a proper debate concerning this important matter.
"Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh" That is NOT and never was the Name of our ONLY sovereign Lord (Jude 1:4).
And the name "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh" is NOT blasphemed among the nations, but the Name JESUS Christ is the ONLY Name which is blasphemed among the nations and nobody in the western world calls Jesus Christ 'Y'shuah Christ.
The Lord Jesus said, 'My name is continually blasphemed all day long, Therefore My people shall know My name.' (Isa. 52:5-6)
If "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh" would be the name of God in the Old Testament, don't you think that Moses would have known that name and called God "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh" ?
No my friend, the Name of God was NOT given in the Old Testament and nobody knew God's Name.
Only we, in the New Testament know God's ONE and ONLY Name 'Jesus' and there is no other Name given (Acts 4:12).
Also, David in the Psalms did not know the Name of God. He said, 'Holy and awesome is His Name (Ps. 111:9).
Proverbs 30:4 says, 'Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His son's name? Surely you know!'
The Bible said, that it is Jesus who established the ends of the earth (John 1:3 + 10 Col. 1:16), therefore we know His one and only Name 'Jesus'.
